Jenny’s Eco Army Project

I’m a brain injury survivor supported by the NDIS, with a mission to inspire people living with mental health challenges, disabilities, or anyone who wants to make our community better.

To honour my late mother, Jenny, who passed away from cancer, I founded Jenny’s Eco Army (JEA) — a project that continues her spirit of kindness, love, and community care.

JEA brings people together to take action — to get off the couch, connect, and do something meaningful for the environment and the community.

Every March, we join the Clean Up Australia Day campaign with beach clean-up events — proving that small actions can create big change.

WoodWorks Wonders Project

I’m proud to be part of the TruAssist Tribe, where I discovered a hobby I truly love. Through training and learning at the Men’s Shed, along with the support of the TruAssist Tribe, I found my passion for woodworking — creating tables, chairs, and various handmade pieces.

This journey has boosted my confidence and helped me realise my own abilities. Now, not only do I enjoy doing what I love, but I’ve also started earning a little income from it.
